Congratulations to our School Netball team who have made a great start to the BALLYMENA & DISTRICT PRIMARY SCHOOL NETBALL LEAGUE, winning both of their away matches in Moorfields PS and Portglenone PS. The team consists of all of the Primary 7 girls who stayed for after-school netball and one Primary 6 girl, Dervla, who is a great Goal Attack for the team.
The girls played brilliantly as a team, their passing, intercepting and shooting skills were very strong, a great reflection of the weeks spent practising under the guidance of Mrs McCurry.
We really appreciate the time and expert coaching which Mrs McCurry voluntarily puts in. She also organises the matches and drives the girls to and from the games. Thank you so much, Mrs McCurry!
We are also very grateful to our wonderful PTFA who have provided the girls with a new team kit this year: tshirts, skorts and bibs. They look great and the girls love wearing them - we feel the new team gear has brought us extra luck for the start of our league.
Congratulations girls, we wish you lots of luck for the coming weeks!
