Storm Chandra Update - School Closure

Following a review of the adverse weather conditions this morning, and a further update from the Met Office which now includes explicit warnings of danger to life, the decision has been taken to close St Patrick’s Primary School today.

I fully appreciate that this decision will cause inconvenience for families; however, given the potential seriousness of the weather warnings, school closure is unavoidable in the interests of safety.

We would like to remind you of our online learning platforms including Accelerated Reader, Mathletics, Reading Eggs and Mathseeds for those who wish to engage with them today.

School is currently scheduled to reopen tomorrow (Wednesday).
