Shared Ed for P1 and 2 at Glenmona

Primary One and Two had their first Shared Education meet up with our partner schools St. Ciaran’s, Cushendun and William Pinkerton school, Dervock on the 28th April at Glenmona in Cushendun. Unfortunately Bushvalley Primary school weren’t able to make it this time. They had a great time building dens, going on a scavenger hunt, building castles and stone pyramids at the beach and playing lawn games. Afterwards they all enjoyed a picnic in the garden. On the Wednesday we all caught up with our new friends again via TEAMS online. They shared pictures, writing and stories about their favourite part of their day out and many of the children enjoyed waving at their new friends from the other schools. We finished our meeting off with a rendition of ‘If you’re happy and you know it.’
