Santa Run Fun at the Beach

1st Dec 2025

What a magnificent day for a run! Today, our children traded the classroom for the coastline as they participated in our annual 'Santa Run' at the beach. Despite the seasonal chill in the air, the atmosphere was incredibly warm, with every child sporting a colourful and cheerful Christmas jumper.

The sight of our young pupils bounding across the sand in their festive attire was truly heartwarming. Beyond the physical activity, the day was a huge success in fostering community and connection. It provided a wonderful, unstructured opportunity for the children to run, laugh, and interact with friends outside of their usual class groups, strengthening the bonds of our school family.

This special outing offered numerous other benefits. Getting outside and enjoying the fresh, coastal air is invaluable for physical health and mental wellbeing. It gave our pupils a chance to practice gross motor skills in a challenging environment (running on sand!), boosted their energy levels, and provided a joyful moment of collective fun - a perfect way to celebrate the festive season together. It’s experiences like these that create lasting, happy memories for everyone involved.

Thank you to all the staff who made this fantastic day possible!
