PTFA Fundraising Night

9th Oct 2019

Last Thursday night the PTFA hosted a night with Deirdre Chestnutt presenting unique personal styling tips. This was a great success with over 80 ladies from the local Glens area getting together in the wonderful new Glenariffe Community & Recreation Centre. The ladies were greeted with a prosecco reception and had the opportunity to win some fabulous raffle prizes. Deirdre shared styling tips and ideas for creating a capsule wardrobe. We learned all about body shape and styles to suit us, along with the right colours to wear depending on skin tone.

We managed to raise £940 for much needed school funds & the feedback was very positive. Thanks to everyone who came along on the night to support us. It is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Paul Lau for acting as compère. A big thank-you for the kind donations for our raffle from Glens of Antrim Potatoes, Ruairi McNaughton, Gillans Pharmacy, Practically Perfect Cheesecake, Kirsty McDonnell Hair Salon, Upstairs at Joes, Celtic Crafts, Catriona Kerr Group Fitness, Gym 208, Marianne Nulty, No 9 Chippy, Laragh Lodge, Kearneys Butchers & the teachers from the school for the Salthouse Voucher.
