Primary One and Two - Week Four Review

23rd Apr 2020

Well, we have had yet another lovely week of weather and I can see that lots of you have been really busy enjoying the outdoors. Well done to any of the children who have already completed an Eco Schools project and shared their results with us. If you are still working on it, please send me a copy of your finished work this week. I have managed to complete my own recycling project this week, using old digger tracks for flower beds and filling them with lots of lovely plants and flowers to attract the wildlife.

Well done to Aody who has been making a fantastic bug hotel with his brother and also keeping healthy by going for lovely walks with his family. Caoimhe has made an amazing robot using recycling materials. This was also connected to our 3D work from last week. Can anyone spot the cuboids or cylinders she used in her creation? She has called her robot Holly, she is 8 years old and likes Mars Bars. Not such a healthy choice of snack! It is a good job she is a robot and doesn't have real teeth like us.

Some children have made amazing progress with their Mathletics this week. Well done to Clodagh who has now achieved her third bronze award and Aody who achieved his second one. Also brilliant work from both Oisin and Caoimhe in P2 who also achieved their second bronze award. Keep up the hard work.
