Primary 7 update to Home Learning Week 7

13th May 2020

Primary 7, please check the Home Learning Week 7 for a new document with Mathemagic answers to pages 109 - 112. I hope you've enjoyed working through these tasks!

I've had a wee look to see how things are going with Mathletics. So far this week, 3 of you have gained your Bronze certificates. Well done! Remember, you should go in to the Learn area and complete your assigned tasks before you do anything else - some of you are going to the Play area first, but I'm not sure you can earn certificates in this area. Some children are really close to getting their 1,000 points - keep going!! Plus 2 or 3 haven't got started this week at all - it's not too late, get logged in and get going!!

I have also added some Problem-Solving and Reasoning tasks to the assigned tasks in Mathletics for some groups just in case you have finished all of the areas in Mathletics. To access these tasks, you should remember to log in using the browser to access the Mathletics website rather than using the Mathletics app as the app has not yet been updated to include Problem-Solving and Reasoning.

Once you have logged in, go to the Explore area rather than Learn, you should find Problem-Solving tasks there. Look for the two Money problems first, then possibly the Addition/Subtraction one. The Length one has been there from before, I would just ignore it!   Let me know how you get on - maybe you could take a screen shot of your work & send it in? Remember to send in photos to let me see what you've been up to this week. Have you started your Virtual Sports Day practices yet? Any photos and work examples will go on to the website at the end of the week. Good luck, have fun.
