Primary 4&5 Get Busy

1st May 2020

Annie Mc Naughton used her time to build a castle out of recycled materials. Look how tall it is...what a balancing act. Great job Annie!! Oliver and Nicholas Lowry not only did a beach clean up, they used the materials they found to create a piece of art work with a message.... plastic kills. I love the way they used the crab shell they found together with the junk materials to get the message home. What a fantastic idea!! Well done to Niall O Neill who has enjoyed lots of outdoor tasks this week. Niall along with his daddy, built a vegetable patch out of old wood that was no longer being used. He then placed soil on the vegetable patch and planted lots of exciting vegetables such as carrots, peas, broccoli, cabbage and leeks. He also took a trip to some rock pools on his daily walk and saw mussels, snails, limpets, small fish and lots of seaweed.  Sean Mc Auley continues to show his love of birds and produced some facts about the bullfinch on a word document. Good research Sean!!
