Primary 1-Primary 6 Parents

11th Jun 2020

Dear parent/guardian,

On Thursday 25th June, could I ask you to bring or send in any text books that the children may have at home, including Focus on Literacy, Mathemagic and any novels or library books, in a plastic bag with your child’s name on them. We will have a table set out under the canopy for you to leave off the books and to collect your child’s or children’s reports.

We will have different times for each class group. If you have more than one child in the school you may leave off all your children’s books at the one time but please have the books in separate bags and labelled with the child’s name.
Primary 7 have their own arrangements.

The times are:

P1 & P2 – 9.15am – 9.45am
P3 – 10am – 10.30am
P4 & P5 – 10.45am – 11.15am
P6 – 11.30am - 12pm

We are adopting a oneway system into the school grounds. We ask that parents come in the gate on the Bayview side of the village and exit the school premises on the Waterfoot side. We intend to use this system when school resumes again. We also ask that you keep to the social distancing measures.

Finally, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support, particularly during these difficult and unprecedented past few months. It most certainly was not how any of us could have foreseen the year ending for any of our pupils. We look forward to seeing you on the 25th!

Warm regards,
Roisin McCarry
