Post Christmas Arrangements

4th Jan 2021

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a safe and peaceful start to the New Year.

With regard to arrangements for the reopening of school, I wish to inform you of the following:

Unfortunately, following the most recent guidance from the Education Minister, our school will NOT open as planned on Thursday 7th January 2021.

School will re-open, as scheduled, for all staff only on Wednesday 6th January 2021 so that we can prepare for online learning which will be made available to all classes on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th January 2021 (we will post up full details of how to access learning for each class on Wednesday 6th). If anyone does not have access to an online device, could you please contact me directly on rmccarry629@c2kni.net for guidance.

Currently, we expect all pupils to return to school for face-to-face teaching on Monday 11th January 2021.

Key workers and/or parents of vulnerable children who require supervised learning for their children on 7th and 8th January 2021 are asked to contact Mrs McCarry on rmccarry629@c2kni.net for necessary arrangements to be put in place.

Please keep monitoring the school website, your phone apps and emails for further updates. As you are aware, the situation can change from day to day, we want to keep our information as up to date as possible. Many thanks for your continued support at this time.

Warm regards,

Mrs R McCarry

Principal
