We were very lucky here at school to be awarded a grand from DEARA and Live Here Love Here. The aim of the grant is to encorage pollinators in rural areas.
The grant has allowed us to purchase educational resources, gardening tools, seeds, fruit trees and bushes, along with many different plants for pollinators. We were also able to overhaul our school garden and wildflower area.
The children have been very busy over the last few days planting the plants, trees and bushes. They have enjoyed vevery minute and worked really well together.
We would like to thank DEARA and Live Here Love Here for providing the grant. It has provided our children with some wonderful experiences and will have a positive impact witin our school commuity for many years to come.
