The P5 boys had a fantastic day making snowball buns while the P4 class were away on their Shared Education trip. They were very excited to get started and made sure to prepare hygienically by washing their hands and cleaning their work surfaces before beginning.
The boys worked together to weigh out the ingredients, prepare the mixture, shape the buns and roll in coconut. Their favourite part of the day was, of course, tasting their delicious creations in the afternoon! There were even some leftovers to take home and share.
Afterwards, the boys independently wrote instructions explaining how to make snowballs, carefully including all the features of instructional writing that they have been learning about.
Well done, boys – you should be very proud of your hard work and excellent baking skills!
