P4 Hurling/Camogie Blitz
Eleven boys and girls from Primary 4 travelled to Dunloy on Wednesday to take part in a Fun Blitz led by Gaelfast coaches (including Dominic our school hurling coach). Although the original plan was to play outdoors, the cold weather, hail and sleet meant a quick switch to an indoor 'Plan B'- which proved to be a great success!
Around 70 children took part in a fantastic morning of activity, beginning with warm-up games and skill-building sessions before moving on to exciting mini-matches. Teams competed under the names of Lions and Cheetahs, bringing great energy and enthusiasm to every game.
Our pupils had a fabulous time and proudly showed off their developing skills and teamwork. There were some excellent scores, impressive saves, skilful hits and determined tackles throughout the matches.
Most importantly, their behaviour was exemplary and they were wonderful ambassadors for our school. Well done to all involved!
