P.4 & 5 News Update

15th Mar 2021

Jack Black is looking proud and rightly so- he received a prize for most improved under 8 hurler of the year. Well done!! He has also been spending time creating rainbow effects with skittles. Danann sent a video clip of his rainbow investigation work last week- it certainly was quite a tricky task. Thanks for sharing this Danann.

During lockdown Joshua has been taking part in the Saturday morning Children’s Craft class organised by the Friends of Glenariff. He sent in a few pictures from the session on Seed Planting. Looks impressive Joshua -it’s good to know where I can go for some gardening advice from now on!!

Matthew enjoyed his maths work on position and direction last week and then found time, in between the showers, to practise a few tennis shots.

The lambing season has begun and Neil is keeping himself busy on shepherd duty. Even so, he managed to squeeze in some Mathletics time and became a gold certificate champion in his Mathletics last week- brilliant Neil! Well done to Caoimhe, who received her silver certificate and to Ava, Conor and Danann who all gained a bronze award. Francesca and Saoirse became silver certificate champions last week and Odhran (3037), Jacob and Niall were all awarded a bronze certificate. Excellent work!!
