There was a great sense of excitement in school today as we had the pleasure of welcoming members of Oisins Glenariff to our school to celebrate their incredible recent success.
It has been a phenomenal season for the club, and we were honored to have the players present the silverware they have worked so hard to secure. The visit showcased the club’s dominance across the board, celebrating victories in both Hurling and Gaelic Football at Senior and Junior levels.
A Community Connection
One of the highlights of the visit was welcoming back familiar faces. It was a moment of immense pride for our staff to see past pupils return to the school as champions. Seeing former students, who once sat in our own classrooms, achieve such success is a testament to their dedication and a wonderful reflection on our school community.
Inspiring the Next Generation
For our current pupils, this visit was much more than just a photo opportunity; it was an invaluable learning experience.
Having the chance to meet local players - many of whom grew up in the same estates and sat at the same desks - shows our students what is possible with hard work, resilience, and teamwork. The players were fantastic role models, taking the time to speak with the children, answer their questions, and let them get their hands on the cups!
