Our school pledges to promote the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing within our school environment. Our commitment to Take 5 will be visible to all staff and pupils with participation encouraged through a supportive environment.
We had a lovely day today taking part in a mini sports day with the children from Bushvalley. When we arrived it was lovely to see lots of them instantly recognising their friends and playing various games like duck, duck goose in the playground. We then got into our animal teams and made our way to their field. They competed in various races including running, sack, bat and beanbag and hoop. It was all completed with a great sense of fun and comradely. After lunch we had time for another little play to finish off their day. As one child said to their friends when they were getting off the bus “Well that was a lovely day out.”
