Mental Health Awareness Week

Next week will be Mental Health Awareness Week, and we will be celebrating this in school.

On Monday, Primary 5, 6 & 7 will be taking part in an art lesson online with Sinead Campbell from the Art and Design Factory. They will be creating artwork in the style of Matisse, and each child should bring some recyclable circular, triangular, rectangular and square objects with them to school to draw around.

Also, on Monday, all  of our children from Primary 1 to 7 will be taking part in a music lesson online with Claire Leatham from Music Bloom.

Every day the children will be taking part in the daily mile. We will then work out as a school, how far we could have travelled collectively.

Finally, the Primary 3 and 4 children have created a gratitude box for the whole school to share things that they are thankful for.

We are all looking forward to an action packed and rewarding week to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week.
