Maths Week Fun
Last week the children joined in with lots of fun activities to celebrate Maths Week. Pupils from St. Killian’s visited Primary Six and Seven to explore lots of fun Maths games with them. Primary One and Two had great fun on a colour Autumn scavenger hunt. Primary four and five investigated lots of ways of making addition and multiplication sums using practical materials. Primary Three explored time and the number 12. Throughout the week all the children investigated pattern and symmetry at home and submitted their amazing entries. The Foundation Stage had to find interesting patterns in their environment. Key Stage One created repeating patterns and Key Stage Two took this a step further by investigating symmetry. Congratulations to everyone who took part and to all our prize winners.
