The story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' came to life in the Primary One and Two classroom today when they discovered how to make porridge which wasn't "too hot, too cold, but just right!." They all measured out the porridge oats and milk to make the perfect porridge. The children enjoyed seeing how the porridge thickened as it became hotter and there was a lot of chatting about how it felt heavier and thicker when they were stirring it. There was a selection of delicious toppings to make their final dish even more appetising and every child tried the porridge with the majority finishing their portion and declaring it was the best porridge they ever had! Maybe some of you may even be treated to breakfast in the future.
