Well done to our Primary 6&7 hurlers who reached the semi-final of the Cumann na mBunscol North Antrim outdoor hurling tournament on Friday. This follows on from their successes earlier in the year winning the North Antrim and All County indoor competitions.
The boys topped their group having won 6 games and drawing 1 game in the group stage. They then suffered a narrow defeat by the tournament's eventual winners in the semi-final.
The boys were an absolute credit to our school throughout the day, displaying fantastic hurling skills and sportsmanship.
A sincere thank you to Philip Leech who assisted Mr Dinsmore at the tournament, driving the children to Ballycastle and even treating them to ice cream. This support was invaluable and greatly appreciated.
