Home Learning Success in P1 and P2

6th Apr 2020

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all settled down to start week three's tasks. I am sure you are all excited about Easter coming and I hope you all have some fun over your Easter holidays next week.

It was wonderful to see some great examples of the activities you have completed over the past week. Some of you have come up with some great ideas of your own which are great to share with the rest of the class.

Well done to Isla with all your amazing artwork. It looks like it was lots of fun. Glenariff seems to have become a bit dangerous with bears roaming about. Be careful! Your word building and sums are excellent on your whiteboard. Keep up the hard work.

Oisin, I hear you are working really hard on making your sentences interesting. I loved your pirate map. It looked so realistic by the time you had finished it. It is great to see you staying active and getting some jumping practice in. Well done on all the great SoundsWrite work too.

Sophie, thank you for keeping us up to date on all your lovely work. It is all in the previous post. I love your rainbow.

Sophia, you have created some wonderful artwork for your beautiful card. The person who receives this will be very lucky. It is such a lovely, kind idea for home learning.

Well done to Aodhan who achieved his first bronze certificate in Mathletics last week. Also  great work from Tadhg, Ronan, Sophie , Sophia and Eoghan who also had fun with this programme. Hopefully everyone else will have a go this incoming week.

Keep in touch and remember to either e-mail me with samples of your work or upload them yourselves onto the website in the comments section under the week three overview. I look forward to seeing lots of lovely Easter work.
