Another busy morning in St. Patrick's PS - we were delighted to welcome storyteller Simone Schuemmelfeder into the school to share some of her wonderful stories. Simone visited the Primary 1 & 2 children first, they were totally captivated by her tales and showed great listening skills, answering her questions and making their own suggestions.
Next she visited Primary 3 & 4 and again the children were so excited, guessing the endings and helping to choose props to decide which story Simone would tell next.
Finally, Primary 5, 6 & 7 gathered in the hall to listen to Simone's retelling of old tales, some from her childhood, others from various European countries. As you can tell from the photos, they were delighted to get involved, choosing props and sharing some stories of their own.
