FUNDRAISING WALK 2021

28th Jun 2021

We had a fantastic day on Friday in the Forest Park with the whole school participating - a perfect send off for our Primary 7 children. Our Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children thoroughly enjoyed the walk, it was lovely to see them helping each other and encouraging those who were finding the climb a bit more challenging, some children carried bags and coats for others, showing lovely qualities of kindness and caring. We were especially proud of the Foundation Stage children who completed a much longer walk than planned. Well done children! Hopefully you will all have lots of opportunities to get out for walks and picnics with your families over the summer holidays.

A special word of thanks to the ladies from the Glenariff Improvement Group who provided a wonderful hot meal for the children and staff including icecream and a treat bag. What a fantastic way to finish off the year! We really appreciate this very generous gesture.

Thank you so much to all our families for your wonderful generosity towards our charity, Mary's Meals - Grannies Pennies. This afternoon, we will present a cheque for £450.00 to their local representative, Pat McNeill. This amount raised will feed 28 children in Africa for a whole year, we know that this means so much to the people working with these children.

We wish you all a very happy, fun-filled summer from all the staff at St. Patrick's Primary School.
