End of year assembly

30th Jun 2017

During our end of year assembly, as well as our Sports Day presentations, we had certificates for those who had 100% attendance all year, an amazing achievement!

The children who were in every day in the summer term received their 100% Summer Term badge and we had a draw for the Summer Term and month of June 100% attendances.

Max received his money prize from the Ulster Farmers' Union competition, we had several children who were congratulated to various sporting achievements outside of school. We again congratulated our brilliant hurling team and we sang "Happy Birthday" to our June birthday children.

During this assembly, we also said goodbye to some staff members who are leaving us. We thank Margaret-Rose, Andrea and Sinead for their dedication and commitment to our school and our children during their time here and wish them every success in their future ventures.

Finally, the Primary 1/2 class had prepared a giant card to say goodbye to Miss McAleenan who has been teaching them since February. We wish Miss McAleenan well in her future teaching career.
