Ditch the Stabilisers

Today Johnny McCrystal from Sustrans visited our school for a 'Ditch the Stabilisers' training session with three of our Primary 1 children.

We are now delighted to say that all three of the children can cycle unassisted - a great achievement for all of them.

Thank you to Johnny for taking the time out to support our children as we continue to promote active travel throughout the school, as well as the adults who attended to provide encouragement to our children.

We now look forward to the 'Big Walk and Wheel' from 20th to 31st March, where the children will walk, cycle or scoot to school. This has many positive effects including improving health and fitness, reducing pollution and congestion, as well as promoting postive relationships.
