Today, our pupils shone brightly - literally and figuratively - as they took part in Ditch the Dark Day, a fantastic initiative promoting road safety and active travel. The playground was a sea of colour as children arrived wearing their brightest clothes, reflective accessories, and big smiles!
The aim of the day was simple: to remind everyone how important it is to be seen and stay safe during the darker winter months. Our children embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, showing off creative outfits and learning valuable tips about visibility and safety on the roads.
We also celebrated the benefits of walking, cycling, and scooting to school. Many families joined in by choosing active travel options, helping us reduce traffic congestion and care for our environment.
A huge thank you to all parents and carers for supporting this event, and to our pupils for their energy and creativity. Together, we’re making safety fun and helping our community flourish!
