Code Club

8th Oct 2025

This week’s Code Club was buzzing with excitement as pupils tackled real-world problem-solving challenges using Osmo and Sphero Indi—two fantastic tools that bring coding to life in fun and interactive ways.

With Osmo, children explored coding through hands-on games that blend physical pieces with digital feedback, helping them develop logic, sequencing, and critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, Sphero Indi introduced them to the world of robotics, where they programmed colourful paths and watched their robot cars respond with speed, direction, and personality!

Throughout the session, pupils:

  • Practised key coding concepts like algorithms and debugging
  • Worked collaboratively to solve puzzles and design creative solutions
  • Built confidence in using technology to express ideas and solve problems

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and teamwork as they learned through play. Code Club continues to be a space where curiosity, creativity, and computational thinking thrive - and we’re excited to see what our young coders will explore next!

Thanks once again to our PTFA with partly funding this wonderful experience for our children.
