Caring for our world in Primary 7

22nd May 2020

How lovely to see our Primary 7 children keeping busy over lockdown and finding innovative ways to get their Eco messages across - Glenariffe's future is in safe hands with Ronan, Molly, Ben and his sister Ava and Dan and Sophie Black! I love the creativity they have shown in using natural materials to get their message across. The results are really amazing, so powerful. Well done!

Well done to Tamara also who continues to work hard and is learning so much about the Titanic passengers and crew. I love how Tamara is presenting her work and using her ICT skills to add pictures and colour to her work. These are great skills to carry over to St. Killian's next year. Have a look at her work in our P7 Home Learning documents for Week 9.

Finally, a huge congratulations to Primary 7 on their Mathletics work this week. 14 children have now earned certificates with 1 more who will hopefully get a Bronze over the weekend. This is our best result yet, I'm so proud of you all!! A special mention to Maria who has spent almost 4 hours this week working on Mathletics alone - great preparation for next year! For a full breakdown of Mathletics results and certificates, please go to our Primary 7 Home Learning page.
