Bike to School Week

Bike to School Week will take place between Monday 23rd and Friday 27th September, 2019.

All children from Primary 1 to Primary 7 will be encouraged to get on their bikes and cycle to school.

Before they do, it is important that their bikes are in good working order. To ensure they are, parents can help their children to carry out the M check by following the steps on the Sustrans website

Parents are also encouraged to take photos of their children on their bikes/getting ready for their journey and send them to the school at jkerr320@c2kni.net so that they can be displayed on our school website.

This year active travel will be an important focus in our school as we aim to be awarded with the Sustrans Gold School Mark in the coming months and child participation and parental support will be an important part of this.
