Ben and Dan's Eco poems and Scratch projects

2nd May 2020

Apologies for not adding this into the Primary 7 weekly round-up yesterday, well done to all our children for their fantastic work this week.

I love Dan's Sei Whale poem, full of similes, metaphors and a wonderful Eco message! He also created a brilliant poster to get his Coronavirus and Pollution message across. Well done to him also for the measuring task, he's done a great table to record his times. Dan and Sophie helped outside with planting potatoes, hopefully they were a good help to their dad!

Ben and Dan both had a great time working on the Scratch project, well done, boys! Ben has also been working hard on his poem, he also designed a poster to illustrate his message.

Well done to Ben for continuing to work on the Stretch and Challenge activities. He enjoyed researching and doing the comparisons for Around the World in 80 Days and got help for some of the more challenging ones. I wonder if anyone else has had a go at them? These challenges definitely take a bit more thought than some of the other maths work but they are really good for thinking skills and problem-solving so we will go back to them as the term progresses.
