Our school pledges to promote the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing within our school environment. Our commitment to Take 5 will be visible to all staff and pupils with participation encouraged through a supportive environment.
The Primary One and Two children had a lovely day today when we hosted our Shared Education visit with Bushvalley. There was great excitement from all the children as they prepared to walk to the beach for some sandcastle building and digging. The children were split into their six animal groups and designated a Primary Six or Seven helper. The older children rose to the challenge of leading their group safely to the beach and guiding them in the correct sandcastle building technique. Thankfully the rain stayed away and the children had a great time. We did try to get the sand out or our shoes and boots on the way back but there will be lots of tired children with sandy toes heading home this afternoon!
