Primary One and Two have been learning about time. Today we decided to revise what we have been learning about using the fantastic backdrop of the beach. The children were split into groups to make a large clock on the sand. They used sand, shells and stones to make the numbers around the clocks and their own bodies for the clock hands. We then took turns in pairs to make a selection of o’clock and half past times. The children had great fun and loved comparing heights with a partner to see who would be the short hand and who would be the long hand each time.
