Action Mental Health Presentation

7th Feb 2020

This afternoon at assembly, we presented a cheque for £330.00 to Amanda from Action Mental Health, money which we had raised through our Advent Raffle and Christmas Carol Service. Amanda thanked the children very much for their generosity explained how the charity uses the money to raise awareness and to run the workshops in various organisations. Thank you all for your wonderful support in helping to raise this fantastic amount of money.

Congratulations also to our two Quiz teams who represented the school at the Cumann na Bunscoil Quiz held in St. Ciaran's PS, Cushendun. First place went to St. Brigid's PS, Ballymoney, who won for the first time this year, beating our Team B (Christopher, Ben, Cara and Erin) into second place by only 2 points. Our younger team, St. Patrick's Team A (Dan, Ronan, Alexander and Dara), came fourth out of 10 teams, a brilliant achievement as again there were only 3 or 4 points separating them. The children's behaviour was excellent, they were a credit to the school and their knowledge was impressive. Well done to them all!!

Happy birthday to Sean, Lara and Conor who all celebrated their birthdays during the week. And finally, congratulations to Jacob who was delighted to win the January 100% attendance prize this month.
