A Blessed and Beautiful Confirmation Day

A massive congratulations to our wonderful Primary 7 children who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday in St John the Evangelist Church, Carnlough! It was a truly special occasion as our pupils joined together with the pupils from our neighbouring schools in Carnlough and Glenarm, coming together as one community to take this important step in their faith journey.
We were absolutely delighted to welcome Bishop Alan McGuckian, who conferred the sacrament and spoke so warmly to the children about the journey ahead of them.
An occasion like this takes an incredible amount of work behind the scenes. We want to extend a massive thank you to Mrs Higgins for her dedication, guidance, and hard work in preparing the children so beautifully to receive the sacrament. Thanks also to the families, clergy, and everyone from the local parishes who helped make the day so memorable.

We hope that all of our Primary 7 pupils, alongside their families and sponsors, had a thoroughly enjoyable day of celebration.
As our children take this next step, we pray that they continue to grow in faith and always live their lives guided by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
