🦕 P4 & P5 Palaeontologists in Action! 🦖

27th Feb 2026

Our wonderful P4 & P5 class became real-life palaeontologists as they carefully hatched dinosaur eggs and uncovered fossils using chisels and scrapers 🦕 Working brilliantly in teams, they showed great patience and a delicate touch while excavating their discoveries.

The fun continued as they created their own frozen dinosaur eggs! After stretching balloons to tuck a tiny dinosaur 🦖 inside and filling them with water, Teresa kindly froze them for us. A few days later, we observed the icy eggs slowly melting, noticing how the water pressure pushed the dinosaurs towards the shell. Some hatched all by themselves, while others needed a little crack outside to help reveal their prehistoric surprise — a beautiful and fascinating sight for everyone!
