Our school pledges to promote the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing within our school environment. Our commitment to Take 5 will be visible to all staff and pupils with participation encouraged through a supportive environment.
Our fantastic P4 & P5 class explored the art of Haiku poetry, learning about this traditional Chinese-orientated style and its 5-7-5 syllable pattern. Linking beautifully with their dinosaur topic, the children wrote their own Haikus, carefully counting syllables and following the rules with great skill. They then used soft pastels to decorate dinosaur templates, creating colourful displays to showcase their wonderful poetry. 🦕
