Education Restart: Information for Parents and Carers

13th Aug 2020

Dear parents,

Please see attached letter from Peter Weir regarding the Education Restart of schools for the new academic year.

As you will see, the government guidance is for all schools to restart with full classes and a full week from the week beginning 31st August. Fortunately, given our numbers and pupil:staff ratio, we had been planning for this already, so from next week staff will be back in school preparing for the start of the new school year 2020-2021. You will already have received the revised school holiday list and start dates for each class. We will send out a reminder of these towards the end of next week.

Primary 1 pupils and parents will also receive their individual invitation with a specific day/time for their visit to the classroom and to meet their new teacher and classroom assistant.

Many thanks to you all for your patience and good wishes throughout the past difficult months. We are looking forward to seeing you and your children very soon. I want to assure you that we are working very hard to ensure our school has everything in place to ensure your children feel happy and secure as they come back in to our care.   In the meantime, if you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be in the office from Monday 17th or you can contact me by email: rmccarry629@c2kni.net.   Warm regards, Mrs Roisin McCarry Principal
